It's been the third time I lost hours of progress by a random crash, it mostly happens when loading a new area but today I just opened the door after the appartments section and it froze then crashed with an Application Error, "lzopro.dll" being the culprit in Event Viewer.

Other crashes was just Application Error with "ZOMBI.exe", everytime it's just a CTD without any info.

Anyone else with this experience ?

Yeah, at times when I'm going from a successful mission and taking the quick sewer route to base and it crashes. There really no support for the title so I just grin and bear it. It just happened to me when I had to go through the biggest pile of zombies while getting the antidote. After I got the antidote I definitely wanted to go to base and save and it just crashed. It has happened about 3 times in the play through but it is random so it's really a hit and miss if you get lucky. I'm pretty close to finishing the game so I'll just keep going to complete it and then delete it off my drive. :)

Thank you ! I wanted to know if it was only on my end, same for me it happened 2 times with the sewer "fast travel" and then also while going through an exit, each time with the loading screen :(

Guess i'll need to live with it then

Same issue here. Played it years ago and saw the update fix so thought I would play again and same crashes.
