And replace the Uplay dll with the ones in here. Bypasses the defunct Uplay completely. Got this working on my steamdeck as well. Just do the exact same thing.

7zip is pretty much the standard for packing/unpacking files. 7zip>winrar

The fact that it was only picked up by a single vendor as a virus and not the other 59 would tell me that's a false positive. You've also scanned the 7z file, not the dll file.

Has anyone downloaded this and confirmed that it works??? The porn ads on that site worries me. I’m guess no.

Not sure why people are having problems, I just booted this up with Ubisoft Connect and it worked straight away?

For anyone wondering, install Ubisoft Connect first and then run the game. If you don't have Connect pre-installed, it doesn't know what to do and gets stuck in a uplay loop.

Also make sure you have the correct Ubisoft account linked to your steam because I didn't and now I'm waiting for Ubisoft to move the activation from the wrong account to the right one lmao, but I can play with it linked to the other one just fine.

I don't think it's worth buying a Wii U just to play ZombiU. It's not even the system's best use of the feature. It's a good game, but I think the PC port is better (once you remove the uplay).

I would say it's worth buying a xbox 360 just for a few specific games, though.
