I'm playing with the default rule and i have 3-4-5 of dots 7-7 of dots and 2 north in hand 7-7-7 of bamboo and 3-3-3 of bamboo in meld(open) someone play a seven of dots and the game only let me call pung and not ron, why?

Wish theyd stop putting all these ♥♥♥♥♥♥ games on steam instead of the actual ♥♥♥♥ people want to play.

Ok so here's the deal: I dunno why or how this happens but game that I should win are lose. The game is simply ignoring my hand multiple times. As far as I know, you need 4 melds of any kind + a pair to win, and so far, it NEVER worked for me. Wether it

is it just me or do these ai get into tenpai insanely fast? i mean you can be pro, but a lot of it has to do with luck and what tiles you start out with right? but often these ai are calling riichi before i get half way to putting my hand together unless i already start out with really good tiles which is rare. some of the other japanese mahjong games i play vs ai, they dont put together hands as fast and as often as the ai in this game....

Sooooo, until some time ago I considered myself a fan of Mahjong. But I'm kind of in a place where I don't know where I belong. I have played games called "Mahjong", and they are completely solo player; on the playfield you get all the game blocks placed in a pyramid-ish manner, and you have to pick them off the board by always picking pairs that have no other block on at least one place horizontal to them.
