How are you supposed to make conspiracy games centered around the decay of the human condition and society, and not have them steeped in activism and paranoia?
Lemme guess, Alex was a shade too dark for you so now the entire game is "woke". Lol.
What's shoved in your face?
probably you are right, nobody knows in that woke era what game have been infected in a subliminal way allthough original devs dont want put it.
But overall the game lore is an extension to human revolution, and gave you the option to choose if you are police ally or augments.
But it can be said that this game, in 2016, escape the woke garbage in his peak.
And the deus ex fans, can tell the world, that this saga is dead, but have no really bad bad titles.
Md was so great design wise and to see how it was ruined because of this is very annoying. The augs life matter was the thing that caught everyones attention back then along with the pre order scheme.
Now the situation is so much worse in western video games is why i thought its better DX stays dead for now, or you know they might even ruin Jensen for the sake of woke.
And here I was assuming you had a high enough IQ to understand the game, especially ARC, and the thread that's been going since HR.
Edit: they had aug/natural riots all the way back in HR, too, along with snobby, pushy airs that naturals are simply inferior. Aug/natural relations are an underlying theme of the series, and something you're introduced to right at the start of OG - which is rife with american patriotism, and loves to highlight broken veterans all over the place.
Almost like the games reflect societal changes of the years when they were made, or something...
I'm not gonna touch your grievance that they replaced two not white characters with two new not white characters - and in the end, they're both mentioned in the story, anyway, and Pritchard even stars in one of the DLCs.
It has been used throughout history, especially the Soros fist, which is what's flown. It's as illuminati as it gets. Pay attention to the post-WW2 media landscape.

Here's what they were going for, and just as the game came out, another fist movement rose up, that just so happened to have the exact same characteristics as all other fist movements in our age. Are you noticing things now? It's almost like these aren't organic at all, and can be easily manufactured on the spot...like what they show happening in MD, in great detail.
Anywy, this is way to obvious why they do this to waste time with discussions, Square Enix is still doing it.
