bruh after being able to play this game perfectly after a while it now just crashes on boot asking to send a crash report (knowing how old this game is it's not gonna work)

When i open the game in full screen mode, the left part of the game is off screen. On the right side of my screen, there is a black part as big as the part that's offscreen on the left. I tried changing things in the config file, tried going from windowed mode to full screen, nothing seems to work. Someone knows what i'm doing wrong? I'm using a MSI monitor Optix G241VC curved monitor...

Ok so i don't know if it's working or smoke and mirror's since it's still in a 4:3 ratio and the 1280x1024 one made the game cut off on the screen so probably stick with the 1024x768 one but here we go so first i'm adding stuff that other people did so you don't run into any problem's and fix the blank background.
