Update 221394 - public beta
Build 221394 for The Talos Principle Public Test is now available in beta "publicbeta", which does not require a password.

To install the beta, do this:
- locate the game in the Steam's "Library" panel
- right click and invoke "Properties"
- select the "Betas" tab
- choose "publicbeta"

NOTE: If you want to later change back from publicbeta to default, savegames may be lost! We test for forward upgrades, but not in the other direction.

Here are the changes:

New features:
- Added Japanese voiceovers.

Bug fixes:
- Fixed a crash when opening credits before playing anything.
- Fixed an issue where performance settings would sometimes be reset on game start.
- QRs are now decoded and displayed even if HUD is turned off.
- Fixed several minor issues with game mechanics.
- Fixed numerous small visibility, light and geometry issues in various places.
- Several fixes and improvements on the autotest bot.
- Several localization improvements.

Linux/OSX:
- Screen saver will no longer activate while playing the game on Linux.
- Added Linux config file for PS4 controller.

Hi there,found a small bug. I play the beta with german text and speech for testing purpose only and when you have finished the first 4 small puzzles and you enter the big hall after all the text is still in german but the voice is english suddenly. greetings Mike
btw: game runs smooth in highest settings,no other issue detected so far. THX for sharing this beta,awesome one ;)

otimo jogo, muito misterioso. Cheiro de coisas escondidas e referencias biblicas. Poderia ter um cooperative como o jogo Portal 2

Challenging puzzles. Beautiful graphics. Look forward to playing the full game. Well done, something different for a change.

I found 4 stars. I see I can get to a fifth. However, I can't focus energy onto it or find an energy field deflector thing. The location is outside of the levels. Is there a sixith hidden I can't find then to get into the start chamber?

really enjoyed it. The whole mood of the game is very good to, with the kinda religious overtones. I also didn't find any bugs or glitches, and the puzzles were sufficiently challenging.

Very nice game, no bugs in German lang but in the Hall is the voice in English. Will buy it btw have all 6 stars ;)

Loved the beta, think i will buy it. I only discovered a minor drawback as i didn't know that the tiles in the "tetris puzzles" could be rotated at first... tried to rotate them by mousewheel...
