The DLC page on their official website claims 'Music Integration Play Miku’s songs or add your custom tracks.' This is just not true. Linked Github pages are empty save for swapping VRoid models. I'm willing to change my review if I find out otherwise but after a lot of hunting and eventually paying the AUD $ 29.50, I can say as of today 21/01/25, there is no audio support, animations are limited and modding is almost nothing.

if you want to see your custom VRoid avatar animate and you're not hurting for money this could be worth it. If you saw the 'Play Miku's song or add your custom tracks' and this is a feature you can't be without for that cost, skip it - for now. Maybe come back in a month or two and see if it's improved.

Now, I won't sugarcoat it - the software is pretty barebones and simple, and the animations are looped, and the DLC's Miku model can be found online.
However, I don't really regret splurging on her, because I hope this will actually help the devs make the characters more complex and interactable with, such as vibing to music, reacting to what you're doing, chasing the cursor across the screen, etc.

tl;dr if you want to, buy the DLC to support the devs like what I did, otherwise use vroid hub or something, MelonLoader ♥♥♥♥♥♥ my Desktop Mate to oblivion so I didn't want to use that lmao
