An extremely niche MMO, that was shut down too soon. I liked the medieval, grounded feel, the low-fantasy setting; the combat was acceptable if a bit clunky (the controls were sluggish), it had decent graphics, and player interactions were entertaining as it had open-world PvP. I waited for the game to get more polished, but the devs decided to close it down instead, as it was too hard/too costly to keep it running. It's a damn shame, as Gloria Victis was a diamond in the rough.

This game seem pretty good in the beginning, but due to many restrictions and blocking of many users who complained about certain bugs which hindered some parts of the game, the game went in decline and finally got delisted from Steam. So maybe though it never was a perfect game, I recommend it for the time the game was working and online, hopefully if the developers change their mind they might add the game again to the Store.

They could have kept the servers running, or give the tools to the community. Something to keep any shapes of legacy alive.

But hey, this will be remembered as.. unfortunately, what it was eh.
