There used to be a huge website for modding called MetalMR3.com
The website is long gone, you can see what they had on archive.org

After the shutdown, all mods have been released in one big file by the admin machina22 including the tools to make your own mods (see here: https://www.jeuxvideo.com/forums/1-4646-9592317-1-0-1-0-0.htm)
