Fireworks Simulator

Fireworks Simulator

Feelings of Abandonment
I think the dev’s have abandoned this game just over 2 months and no word I think the are in the Cayman Islands having Margarita Shooters. some one needs to simulate a firework in the seat of their pants ok forget the simulate part. This is a half baked project and needs urgent fixes:medicon: to be anywhere close to be working and if dev’s won’t fix it release the source code as this project does have potential or give refunds

maybe if we shout loud enough they might come back, well here's to hoping

Pity. I'm monitoring this game in my Wishlist, I'd love to have a "fireworks simulator" game that works.

Unfortunately I don't have any information about a new patch at the moment. I will keep you updated.

Thank you for taking the time to stop by, so your telling us we can't find any bugs to patch at the moment, But we will try to look harder.

Sorry p_mf2 just look at the discussion board there are more bugs here then in star ship troopers some even game destroying.

pick a bunch and fix its not rocket science. and keeps your customers happy:demoticon:

It not working is somehting on your end....as this sim works just fine for hundreds and hundreds....

What is it with people on Steam thinking just because they purchase a game they expect a life-time of support and new content...
THATS NOT HOW IT WORKS PEOPLE...this is never how it worked or will work...childish to think so...

So Syd,
good powers of observation
Where do you start looking for answers to problems for this game? ahh the forums.
but when you see only problems and no answers then you ask for help from devs and the community.

so currently the save system is still busted/half arsed, invisible fireworks, a save bug that displays "Der Name des Dings..." in the sequencer and removes every thing else have lost 7+ hours to that bug there are people with false positives from their Anti-virus and a few of other little bugs so we have a right to be miffed if its not going to be fixed or get a refund/credit

don't get me wrong I love this game but parts are still buggered!
and no we don't expect life-time support just a little longer then 12 days maybe a year or 2 at most for bugs and as for new content that is their call

and as for the last comment

"THATS NOT HOW IT WORKS PEOPLE...this is never how it worked or will work...childish to think so..."

look up your local consumer laws it might shock you!

This is exactly why I was waiting to buy it. I had an odd feeling that it would get released, maybe one or two patches, then left in the dust and forgotten. Glad I waited to buy it now that I see their development team bailed because I can use that $10 to go towards something else.

Of course the developers have left this game very soon after it was released here for a bargin price.. as expected. There shall not come a next patch, Developer P_mf2, knows this or can know this.

Ever since steam began .. they have been pushing the "service" aspect of software "ownership".

If Steam goes out of its way to call gaming a service.. then yes.. people expect a tad bit more in the stem of content and fixes.

Quite a few devs are already doing this. ETS2, Kerbal.. etc.

Already there is abandonment?? less than a year?? that sucks... I may be better off using the Firework Show Creator from Roller Coaster Tycoon 3!! and it also has laser and water shows that can be combined heh...

This was abaondoned here shortly after release.. oh the things they could have done with this.

Too bad really. They had something here.. something nice.

well I've been checking out FWSim here this morning it has a 4 hour free trial then the consumer version is only about 30 I think and there is TONS of customization, and a HUGE online library of effects you can get for free with the full version, and create your own effects... and I"m usually not one to post in a thread about how another similar game is but if they wanna turn and run, then why not right?

this is not the same fireworks simulator that is on steam, this is a proffesionnal software that is much more powerfull, where you can create everything you want

Fantavision was amazing I have it, not exactly a thing you can make a fireworks display with and sync to music, but still super fun!
