No way CMS14 have more viariety of parts.
My profile is private - maybe thats why you see it as 0
Yes but in CMS2014 we dont have even half of parts that we have introduced in CMS2015. Also there are no body parts in CMS2014.
We have over 700 unique parts in CMS2015 (body + mechanical), where in CMS2014 it was like around 150 (mechanical cause there was no body there)
Also in CMS2015 we have old v8 and new v8, also modern i4 and older i4 (sohc).
So yes, as you wrote - we know :)
I was kidding. Hence the ";)"
Thanks for the explanation.
Unfortunately, I have been trying to get the demo for (CMS 2014) running on my laptop and I can't get the performance to an acceptable level. Running at 720p (lowest widescreen resolution), low graphics detail, and Anti-aliasing off. Have also tried forcing to use nvidia card from control panel and running in high performance mode.
My laptop specs are :-
Intel i5-3317U dual core @ 1.7GHz
Nvidia GT 620M 1GB
4GB DDR3 Ram
Running Windows 8.1
Is there anything else i could change. Maybe laptop doesn't have enough juice for it
2014 has slightly less in the graphics department and was a little less refined but you had the fun of leveling up through new garages, updates to your bolt speed were by 10% a time etc.
2015 has better graphics, you start off in a better garage, can have multiple vehicles around at once, it has auction mode, you can do body work etc.
Honestly, just get both. They're very enjoyable games and with 2014 you get the 4x4 and turbocharger DLCs bundled in, I believe.
2015 is hands down by far better.
Case in point...
CSM2014: replace brake pads = be like a real mechanic and replace all 8 brake pads.
CSM2015: brakes need servicing = find the only rusty brake parts and replace them; you won't get paid for replacing parts that don't need replacing (effectively throwing money away).
FYI, I went through the CSM2015 campaign THREE times (all DLCs):
-lost completed saved when it wasn't in the backup from upgrading computers.
-lost another completed save when my SSD unexpectedly failed.
-just now got done going through it again.
The total is >60 hours with a lot of idle time in there so about 20 hours each. I only went through the campaign (all DLCs) in CSM2014 once and logged 33 hours with little idle time.
