Graphical bugs have been improved and several items have been complained to here via YT videos or reviews, the game now has enhanced playability, and the bodycam ON/OFF feature has been implemented to allow even non-bodycam game lovers to play it with complete peace of mind! The optimizations have improved but it still remains to be stressed that the game is very heavy on its own and was not created for GTX1080, so I ask you to please read the minimum requirements and not to enter the discord server to ask for lower graphics.
The delay of the update happened because of problems with the school facility the I go to, it became more complicated for me to share the study with my world.
a patreon has been created as well where you can donate to advance REC development faster.
By winter theme in the map it will snow, unfortunately not enough money to buy 3D models of snow covered trees/plants so unfortunately it will remain the normal forest around the facility the DEMO is based on.
I emphasize that the game is not finished and changes and implementations may come in the future.

REC IS NOT PROPAGANDA, REC is a project made by an Italian who is totally neutral towards war, war is a terrible thing but that's not why you can't make movies TV series and games about it, everyone loves action games and choosing a distorted theme is not wrong, so if you are fanatic about Ukraine and support it wholeheartedly DON'T BOTHER ME, IT'S JUST A GAME.
I will say it for the millionth and last time.
REC is just a game created by an Italian, programmed in his spare time, REC is not the subject of propaganda, if you think russia must win you are wrong, if you think ukraine must win you are wrong, war is always wrong and every wrong method of support makes people in high places rich and increases the duration and deaths, wars should not harm civilians, neither Russians nor Ukrainians, I hope the war will end with a peace treaty and I do NOT want Russia to win, I want everyone to return to normal, because seeing such scenes caused by politicians waging war on who has the missile that goes the farthest is not fun.
Summary
WAR IN GENERAL IS WRONG, I AM NEUTRAL ABOUT THE CURRENT WAR AND REC IS NOT FRUIT OF PROPAGANDA BUT A SIMPLE HOBBY.
I am dyslexic and cannot explain myself so I hope you understand what I have said. And not in spite of all the nastiness and the broken finger I had to medicate I will continue to work. IF YOU ARE FANATICAL, DON'T PLAY REC.

The demo is a PROTOTYPE! It will be updated soon to improve many aspects, although there will be several improvements it will not be the last. It is recommended to wait before reviewing. unless you have a more general review.

700 wishlists! Demo bootable on November 6!
Hello all gamers, I'm cat_anon and I'm happy to announce the release of the demo in version 15.10.2024, the uploaded version is an old version due to some complications on the development due to the transition between BodycamFPSkitV2 and BodycamFPSkitV3, despite everything the version is quite updated and contains enough material, any kind of feedback, positive or negative, will be gladly accepted!
On November 6, 2024 the DEMO version of REC will be officially available, for any doubts or requests you can join the Discord server of ByteSquadGames (home page).

hi guys, i jsut downloaded it and my character is moving on its own. im playing on my pc on my keyboard and mouse,and i cannot play like that

games kinda too realistic on "low" graphics

im pretty alot of people (like me) saw this game and got the demo for its reason of the game being like the popular game "BODYCAM" with just lower graphics so it could run on a windows laptop. however, even on the lowest graphics, the game still runs on 15 fps i hope others can see this for the developer to add a "potato pc" like option into the full game and demo....
