Hey man, sorry it took me so long to respond to this. This past update has been a long and difficult one, but it has been made longer because I took some time to produce a pitch deck for GDC to see if I could maybe find a partner to make this thing go faster for you guys.

No luck so far, sorry to say. So back to the grindstone.

As far as the update, I'm definitely making progress on it but there' still a few months worth of work. I'm adding rocks to the planets and there's a lot of engine work needed to make displaying hundreds / thousands of rocks at once. And of course make them look nice.

It's been kind of discouraging that pace is slow (hence why I wanted to explore a partnership) but I'm definitely still cracking away at it.

a 2d metroid remake took 10 years for a single dev. that's just the kind of time games can take when on guy isn't doing it every waking moment. and this game has a bit more going on in it, technically speaking.

with the sheer scale of this thing and how much is already in it i'm sure you'll find a partner/publisher eventually

No clue but I always come back to this game for the sense of scale alone.

Still gotta play it fully one day. Rodina is a trip
