Player 2 keeps entering the game when i press the y, x, a or b button

Whenever i wanna play Lego batman 3. I start a new game, it loads. When i get in the level and i want to jump or attack or even switch to robin the gamr thinks that player 2 joins. What can i do about it because its really annoying

do you still have this issue? i think you can solve it by enabling steam controller support on the right side of the screen when you select the game in your library.
