I remember hearing somewhere that either this game or the 3 remake that's also on Steam was made WAY harder than the original, to the point it was frustrating. Is the remake that was made harder 3 or 4? And hard we talkin, MOTHER 2/EarthBound, or Shin Megami Tensei 3?...

I've just started NG+ and I am planning to go for Proto-babil without maxing out stats. I gave the ??? Love Augment to Cecil and maxed it out. I wonder if Cecil's ??? Love + Darkness + Focus + Adrenaline would do more damage than Kain's setup
