Unless it is patched last time I played(patch 4) it does not pause.Afaik game is on patch 6.


Good idea to read the tutorials and reload the save especially if you play on Circle mage.

The First Orc Mission in Barga Gor is very hard if you do not recruit the"optional"clans ASAP reading tutorial messages time spent on not building.

And of course it does not pause during dialog again if you play on harder difficulties you can not afford to listen to their whole dialog cause your base will get wrecked.

This is primary a problem on the first orc mission.

Bummer lol. I find books to read on corpses and I'm just thinking wtf is the point, I don't have time to read this.

Well it is suppossed to be a rts + rpg hybrid. though I'm one who likes the rts portions more. Pretty sure I'm in the minority on that. But I enjoy both.

I find it best to try to remember to read them after, as well as the context where I found them (helps to make sense of them later on). For the RTS segments at least, they are all just flavor/lore/worldbuilding and are not at all urgent in the context of the mission.
