Any word on a fix for the network issue?
I don't care about actually connecting to the network, but in order to play single player endless modes the game needs to connect to the server or something. Have the devs commented on this?

If it isn't clear what the issue is, do the following:
Open the game (either Reforced or Versus), click Journey, then select either Campaign or Skirmish. Then try to create any time of game, even AI or Solo.
Result:
"Network request failed. (unknown error)"

Why is there a network request for solo? Can this please be fixed?

Hey briggs, if you have multiple network adapters... please use this link to change the priorities

For me it turns out that I had multiple network adapters which is why I had that problem as well with network request failed... the devs made it so that no matter what, the game will connect to the server via the first network adapter on your computer. If you have this problem... just change the priorities of your network adapter so that the network adapter for wifi is chosen first. This can be done easily on your control panel through the link above

Is this issue fixed? I started playing today, & am still facing this network error issue. I have only 1 NW adapter connected to Internet, so I am assuming adapter priority is not a issue here?

Usually just turning off ipv6 fixes the issue, and sometimes just a file verification is needed.

No Luck @Farion, I tried setting up the metric as 1, unchecked IPv6, but still getting that error.
Though 1 doubt, because of the community feedback, I haven't tried to create any account with THQNordic, instead just playing locally. Can that be the issue? does Journey mode requires an account even though I will always play Solo?

Unfortunately, connection does not happen. :-(

Hey Farlon, i just wanted to state that offline skirmish mode also does not work if you have this connection issue. Its a shame cuz skirmish mode with AI was the main reason i wanted to play this game.
