STOCKHOLM — Jan. 14, 2016 — Paradox Interactive, a Level 18 Publisher of Chaotic Good games, today released the newest expansion for Knights of Pen & Paper 2, the meta-RPG where players play as players and game-masters simultaneously. The expansion, “Here Be Dragons,” is available today for Windows, Mac, and Linux PCs, and iOS and Android devices. Included are new features such as a new story and quests, an added character class, and more monsters, loot, and humor than you’ll find on a d100 table. Developed by KYY Games, “Here Be Dragons” finally enables players of Knights of Pen & Paper 2 to play as the in-game Knight class while they slay every entry in the new in-game bestiary.

Knights of Pen & Paper 2 offers players the chance to organize a party of virtual friends and play a pen & paper RPG that requires neither pen nor paper. Paradox Interactive, a publisher and developer that never meta-game it didn’t like, today announced a new expansion for Knights of Pen & Paper 2, the turn-based RPG about turn-based RPGs. The new expansion, titled “Here Be Dragons,” will arrive soon for Windows, Mac, and Linux PCs, and iOS and Android devices, bringing a new story, new features, and enough jokes to fill a bag of holding. Developed by the favorable-disposition NPCs at KYY Games, “Here Be Dragons” also finally enables players of Knights of Pen & Paper 2 to play as the in-game Knight class, making the game title more accurate and therefore better. “Here Be Dragons” will be available on all devices in early 2016.

Knights of Pen & Paper 2 offers players the chance to organize a party of virtual friends and play a pen & paper RPG that requires neither pen nor paper. The upcoming expansion will see the in-game party returning to their roots and undertaking a classic RPG quest for high-level characters, as they seek out and slay the ultimate monsters known to game-kind. Included for all players alongside the new expansion are the new in-game class and the extensive bestiary, allowing fans to stalk their favorite monsters.

Pixelated Meta-RPG Brings the Tabletop to the Desktop and Laptop

Paradox Interactive, a publisher and developer of masterwork games, today released Knights of Pen & Paper 2 for PC, Mac, and Linux. Forged and smithed by KYY Games, Knights of Pen & Paper 2 is the sequel to Knights of Pen & Paper +1 Edition, featuring new in-game races and feats, randomly generated dungeons, retro-styled graphics and music from a new era of gaming, and more jokes and humor than you can fit in a bag of holding. The PC version, available for $9.99, is out today, and includes added features to help players enjoy their player-characters on their personal computers.

Concoct a group of fictional friends in Knights of Pen & Paper 2, and use your knowledge of genre tropes to save the world of Paperos in a turn-based adventure of monster-slaying and loot-hoarding. The newly released version, for PC, Mac, and Linux, includes support for gamepads, keyboards, and mice, along with a completely necessary 1080p 60fps presentation of the game’s pixelated 16-bit world. The PC version also includes the story expansion, “Fist of +1 Fury,” which challenges players to face an onslaught of monsters and cultural references from the Far East of Paperos.
