We've made a calculator roguelike! Yes, it's not a joke. A boring device has turned into an interesting strategy, where each calculator you collect sets its own style of play. Can you count all the numbers and prove who's the king of calculations here?

Version 0.2 was released in the beta

To play it, select the option "beta" in the beta versions section in the game's properties on Steam.

Updates for this version will be released over the coming time as they are ready. After a certain period, once all new features have been tested, the version will also appear in the default section.

⚠️ Attention! The game may contain bugs and issues because it is a beta! Please report any bugs in the our discord server or in steam discussions.

New features in version 0.2:

-Added unlockable items: one background and 5 buttons. Unlocking conditions can be found in the "Collection" section.
-Added a "Collection" section where you can view all the buttons you have and read about their actions.

-Added 5 new buttons:
-"Subtract from 100": subtracts the current number from 100 (if the number is greater than 100, the result is 0).
-"Morpher A": replaces the penultimate digit of the number with the selected one.
-"Morpher B": replaces the last digit of the number with the chosen one.
-"Equalizer": sets all digits of the current number to the chosen digit.
-"Mining": adds 1 coin when used (receives 1 charge each round).

Changed the actions of the following buttons:
-"Battery": adds 1 charge to a random button (receives 1 charge each round).
-Added separate sound and music controls in the settings. Also added a background change feature.
-Fixed a bug where some sounds did not depend on settings.
-Added difficulty level 5: After defeating the boss, charges on some buttons change.
-Added difficulty level 6: Maximum number of buttons in the calculator: 24.
-The game now shows notifications for which button has been discharged or charged.
-Fixed a bug with the "Near" button.
-Fixed several critical bugs.

Calculate It

There is a 2021 game on Steam called "Calculate It!"...

...and the UI is (of course), essentially the same. Just making sure the devs are aware of this.

Endless mode has no loss condition.

I get that the "Endless mode" is 'endless'. But I feel like you should still be able to log how far you have gotten in the game once you run out of optimal moves. Like if you use your, +, -, x , /, and other special buttons; leaving only the normal number buttons, the game should end. With a "no more moves/buttons are available" message since you quite literally can not progress further in the game....

This game is hot but only 6 trophies is discouraging

6 trophies is too low. Put a hundred cool trophies and people will make YT séries playing It.

When I saw the game being described as a "Calculator Roguelike" I was intstantly interested because I love quirky genre combinations. The gameplay is pretty simple, you basically "just" click buttons on a calculator, but the twist is that each button has a limited number of uses. After each round you earn money and you can refill your button presses or buy entirely new buttons that do interesting things like swapping the target number with the starting number or cutting the first digit of the target number. There are different types of calculators, too, which all pose different challenges. If you manage to beat 20 rounds you win. Those rounds include several boss fights which add an extra challenge by disabling certain keys or the calculator's screen. This game does a great job of taking a very simple concept and making it super fun to play. The replay value is nearly endless since the numbers you start with and the numbers you need to reach are always random. I highly recommend playing this game and I am excited to see what features will be added during the early access phase.

Проблемы с округлением

Раз игра математическая, то ожидается, что и округление будет происходить по математике (<0.5 в меньшую сторону, >=0.5 в большую), а не по принципу cast as int. Но в итоге в игре намешаны оба сценария: квадратный корень из 31 = 5,57 --> округлилось в 6, но при делении 54 / 5 = 10,8 --> округлилось в 10. Это с...
