So with chris how are you suppose to beat the plant you can't hit that with the knife can you? He can't mix stuff either cause apparently to dumb (can't play a piano or lockpick either, guess in RE's example woman really is better than man). So how do you kill the plant in a chris knife game?

You need Rebecca to mix the stuff for you, but Richard had to die early on. But you can kill it with a knife; just slash at the little tentacles.
And yeah, Chris is harder than Jill in most cases.

This first crimson head in the coffin was rough with the knife, I was gonna attempt knocking out the 3 and 5 hour achs but I'll be lucky if I can get 5. Maybe I should just focus on surviving with the knife than speedrunning it right now.

I had to just put in 3 masks and go back for more healing items. It seemed very hard to just try and dodge him and only use one spray can. I know yawns gonna be easier cause I killed it before with just a knife, but its actually tyrant I'm most worried about. And with chris I won't have barry around popping magnum shots at it, and I plan on letting rebecca die for the alternate ending cinema. So I'll only have jill popping shots at tyrant.

I'm not a newb at RE but also not well known about all the mechanics. I completed this game on GC long ago and got the unlimited rocket launcher. But this steam version they made even more hardcore. And I'm not sure how knife mechanics are, or the tyrant battle.
