Survival horror lives! The critically acclaimed HD update to Resident Evil (released this past January) has now sold over one million units worldwide. This is in part because the dev team made a great product, but also because of the excellent word of mouth and general praise fans shared about the title. We want to thank everyone for rediscovering this modern classic - or thank you for trying it for the first time. Hope you finished it as Chris AND Jill!

The game releases January 20!

All aboard the hype train for Resident Evil! The enhanced version of the classic 2002 "REmake" officially hits digital outlets starting January 20. Beginning on that day, you'll be able to pick it up for $19.99/€19.99/£15.99 on PS4, PS3, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC.

While it's nice to finally know the price and release date, nothing speaks louder than gameplay footage. So to that end, take a peep at this lovely 60fps gameplay footage taken directly from the PC version of the game.

Game's out starting from January 20!

Not long ago we posted a special video in which producer Yoshiaki Hirabayashi walked us through the process of updating RE for 2015. In that video, Hirabayashi-san discussed some of the methods he and the dev team used to enhance the game's already impressive visuals - this time, he reveals a room that warranted a special extra touch.

Last month during the Tokyo Game Show, our resident Capcom-Unity senior community manager 'Brelston' was lucky enough to meet up with Resident Evil producer Yoshiaki Hirabayashi and discuss some of the ways he and the team are updating the game for 2015.
