I tried all what support told me. Update drivers (were up to date already btw), reinstall DirectX, which i had up to date already, but ok.. searching config.txt, which was total absent in the installation map, even after re-installing. When done all 3 times and checked Firewall settings, admin rights, settings in regedit, the problem of getting a black screen when try opening this (Idk what kind of) game, where the video's of the people at which it DOES work, are neat. I am a paying customer at Valve's, ...

i have it installed but when running the game it only loads, it's stuck in the loading screen perpetually. is there something i can change to fix that?

Or, rather, how much of it is there? The videos I'm seeing on Youtube make it look like the campaign basically has no story giving context to the missions. You just jump into the level with no prelude, play through it with no pauses from voiceover explaining new events or objectives, and watch the ship leave the launchpad with just a pop-up dialogue box telling you what new technology you've unlocked. Then you can do the next mission, and, while it might be more challening and complex, there's no sense ...

Anyone know how to solve this? I cannot run this game (5th in a row from Steam..lol) in a normal manner, cuz when i try to start, it only result in a black screen and needs me to reset hard. (read: power on/off the PC).
