HUD scaling
(Asked the same question on GOG...)

I note that the placing of HUD elements like the minimap seem to adhere to a maximum 16:9 format--as I cannot move the minimap as close to the top of the screen as I would like it to be. I play at 1920x1200 and would like to move the HUD elements into the corners of the screen (so as to be less distracting)--but the HUD scaler seems to max out @ 1920x1080...16:9....

Any way around that at present?

Exactly! It's perfect @ 1080P--not at 1200P...CDPR really needs to fix that because the HUD elements even at smallest aren't at the corners of the display @ 1200P and are somehwat distracting...

Here try these numbers for 1920x1200


uiVerticalFrameScale=1.18
uiHorizontalFrameScale=1.04

My documents>The Witcher 3>Usersettings>change the values from 1 to the above and save.

You, my good man, get The Golden Cigar...! Here, let me light it for you...! Thanks so much! It's perfect, now. I tried your first numbers and all it did was reset all of the game options, and so I thought those numbers actually governed the size of the UI instead of the location--but you hit the nail on the head--thanks again!...;)
