I cant get the "overkill" or Let's cook" acheivments to pop

I'm using broad head bolts igni and devils puffballs but no matter how many times i do it i cant get the achievement to pop, I have learnt well over 12 potion formula's do I need to craft 12? the achievement doesn't specifically say i need to craft them. i don't know whats wrong

I eventually got the "overkill" after summit like 1k200 H.... I took the short cut, I put those runes on my sword. An 1 day, it popped up.

For overkill, there's a combat ability that makes fast attacks deal bleed damage. If you put a poison rune on your sword, then you just need to wait for poison to proc and then cast igni, the bleed takes care of itself. Probably the easiest method, but puffballs also work (that's what I used)
