Thank you all for playing Underworld Overseer. We are a very small team and your support means a lot to us. We worked hard to fix reported issues and improve balancing based on your feedback.

Improvements

The plague doctor is now healing his wounded allies
The plague doctor is now dropping a bottle when he dies
Improved the alarm trap sound and visual to make it more noticeable for the player
Mandrakes are now animated to make the farm more alive
Added a vfx when you eat one of your units
Improved the back of the mountain texture
Improved tooltips to reduce confusion about cost and stock of needed resources
Grabbing a unit reset his work cooldown so the player can encourage them to work if he drops them near an availabe work
Starved and sleepy units will now try to fulfill their need as soon as possible and not only the next time the need it
Improved the mana pool animations
The dungeon’s walls are now reinforced and a bit longer to be digged by sappers than normal walls

Balancing

Reduced toxic golem explosion damage
Increased bubblegum golem explosion damage
Remade the necromancy hard level so it can be completed by playing the normal way as it was confusing for many players
Increased the slow effect duration from 5s to 8s
Slightly increased bone fairies attack range

Bug fixes

The plague doctor is now properly immune to toxic golem explosions
Fixed a bug causing the poison clouds damage to be dealed even when the enemy left the cloud
Fixed a bug preventing the final level to be finished after loading a save done when no blue cultist were alive
The health of the dungeon heart is now loaded properly and not reset to max health when loading a saved game
Tweaked the collider so it is easier to eat units
Fix an issue causing some sounds to be played twice when using the rally and raid spells
Fix many vfx not played properly when too many of them need to be played at the same time
Ethereal imps are now properly immune to the Goddess explosion
The first mandrake spell is no longer spawning 2 mandrake per enemy instead of 1
Fixed an issue preventing the units to eat some mandrakes spawned in the farm because they were not added in the list properly making them complain about the lack of food for no reason
Priest’s shield audio loop is now properly muted when the shield is disabled by the anti magic trap

What's next?

We are currently working on a bigger update that we want to release in the end of January. This new update will include 5 new levels as well as new game changer enemies.

Siege level advice

I despise being pressured with timed levels, and a cheap knock-off of Dungeon Keeper where the training room is purely decorative isn't helping. At best, the units you get die in anything except a 1-on-1 fight, have invisible health, and don't seem interested in healing, nor do they seem to get any stronger than when they walk in the door. So the Siege level baffles me. I can't research traps and useful rooms fast enough to defend against the fifth attack wave where a seemingly infinite number of heroes k...

Is my device compatable?

I know it states that quest 2 is compatable with the game however whenever i enter the game the hand tracking stops it works perfectly fine on everything else i press the menu button and its still tracking but the hands in game wont move.

The camera control is bad

I liked the game, but the controls are bad. I would do it like this: - Left stick to move the camera around the map. - Left and right grip held down to zoom in and out of the map like in the demeo game. Also to be able to rotate the camera using this method. - B button to show the mini map. - I would also make it possible to display statistics on the hand - There is still no way to divide warriors into groups...

Index support?

I'm curious if Valve Index is supposed to work. It's not mentioned as supported, though it should be OpenXR compliant. I tried the demo and I got double vision. Didn't play further as it's bit annoying. Though could be also Proton issue.

Demo impressions - It's awesome

A DK clone in VR is something I've been hoping for for a very long time. Overall the experience is excellent. The visual style, especially of the monsters, is fantastic, and to me looked very reminiscent of Mike Mignola's work, although a little less heavy on the shading. I absolutely loved the monsters' annoyed reactions to being picked up, and how they were creature-specific. The warriors swinging their swords at you was a great touch. Just...awesome, brilliant stuff here. My only criticism at this p...

The next step/gen? i need more time with this. but I'm not going to return. This i have a plan to play this. it looks and feels good. it need a good narrator, and with out it feels empty. me human. it feels like early access just like me review.

As a massive fan of the Dungeon Keeper games, I'll tell you: It's Dungeon Keeper. KIND OF.
The game is a treat for the eyes: cell shaded environments and creatures make everything so dang cute. The music is fun and harkens back to the good old days of slappin' imps and causing chaos. This game could be improved a few ways, and the biggest FOR SURE is a leveling system. The best part about ol DK is seeing all the numbers overhead, and being able to respond to combat without guessing. There aren't any levels, there isn't any way to know how strong everyone is. You don't need to train anyone to win here, you just have numbers and that's it. Having unit collision is something they did back in 1997. You need to do this too. Clipping all these dummies together is AWFUL. Being able to pick up specific units also. To respond to attacks and maneuver your pieces into position, as well as regular inventory is important. There is currently no way to pick up anyone specific unless you go and find them. Tedium kills games. And lastly, LET ME SLAP/POSSESS IMPS/MINIONS. You missed a real opportunity here. Being an imp in VR?! That would be so cool. I love the game, but it is missing so many pieces to make it great.
