This can be solved by disabling cloud saves and manually editing the myDocuments\SavedGames\Project Temporality\Project Temporality Save\AllPlayers\TemporalitySave.xml file or by disabling SLI(or corssfire)
This will be fixed in the next patch.
For 1.03 patch we spent alot of time and effort trying to resolve any issue sthat might come up for the end user or at least point them in the right direction but it seems we added a new one-
No Sound Problem should be fixed using the default way of launching the game now. We still don't knpw why some computers lacks sound after using the launcher but have managed to reproduce it and will investigate it.
If you get sound but no music (you can see that music is turned OFF in the options meny) this is due to your computer lacking the windows media player. Sadly micosoft tied those together so we can't play music without it (silly we know but it's general XNA issue) But we have fixed so it is turned off so the game doesnt crash as most XNA games do. If you turn windows media player on the computer will need a reboot to fix it.
Sometimes the Steam installer misses installing some of the needed packages we have alerted Valve to this. But this seems to be a common steam issue so not much hope here.
In 1.03 we have a launcher (use Troubleshooting mode) that will try to detect any redists steam failed to install and tell you where to find them so less people will have trouble but it might miss some cases.
We have also added in a lot of error catching in the case that your graphics card is incompatible with the game and hopefully you will get a useable error message now.
If the game crashes on launch (before getting to the intro) and the launcher somehow fails to detect it you canj install these redists (that the steam installer should install but on rare occasions it fails) But it's a last way out and should hopefully not be necessary anymore.

I just wanted to let you know that Project Temporality does not work on intel HD Graphics integrated video chipsets.
I keep getting the following error:
Could not find a Direct3D device that supports the XNA Framework HiDef profile.
The bad part is if it is a card that should be DX10 compliant and you get that message it's an XNA issue and I'm not sure it is fixable. Because what it means it that some of the DX10 features the game requires is missing.

The first intel HD that can manage to run Temporality from a performance standpoint is the intel HD 3000. a Six gen card. Even the HD 2000 won't be able to support it speedwise.
So your graphichs card is quite a bit below the minimum spec I am sorry about this but due to our deferred renderign where everything is real time all the way we simply can't stretch that far back an average scene in temporality renders millions of polygons every frame (yeah we dont have the amount of lod levels that an AAA game has a matter of the number of artists)
We are aware that it is hard on PC to know about and understand what kind of computer and graphichs card you have, and if you purchased the game on steam I recommend you contacting valve for a refund.
Sorry that we can't do much about this we really tried to go as low as we could in specs.
As to why it doesnt start I have been looking around and it seems that the IronLake chips (gen 5, intel that you have) Claims to support DX10 but are missing some rarely used features that xna looks for. it's not that it needs 10.1 as alot of 10.0 cards works fine its some specific to gen5 intel :/
I've just got home and I'm very much looking forward to playing your game.
I believe my GTX 560 will be sufficent. :D

So I have a 4th gen card, but it's got an HD 4400. so why doesn't it work?
