1/ Create your own client server on your computer (30 minutes):

Main Menu--> Create a world

- Choose the server's name,
- Choose your rates (For beginners: xp 10, skills 3000, terra 3, crafting 60, breeding 100-120, day 3-4 hours, 50-100 animals depending of your pc, no judgment, decay 0 ( decay 1, buildings are fadding out of claim / server cleaning)
- Choose a GM password.
- Put "active/visible" the server on the worlds list, lock it with a server password.
- Give the name and the password of your server to your friends.
- Run your world, wait around 30 minutes for creation....
- Friends join your world via "Join the world" on main menu and the worlds list.
- The server will shut down when you will close your game.

2/ Join the world of somebody else and dedicated servers:

Main Menu--> Join a World

- IN the list: Sort by names the servers, choose the language, the gameplay IN THE NAME of the server and the PING (less it is, best will be the latency), in the list of the worlds. ^^
- Clicking on the server --> check the RATES in the right panel.

Advices...:

- choose a server where there is at least one person,

- try to contact him/her with the general channel at your arrival, and ask if there is a discord or if he/she is the admin,

- Try to keep this contact up to have infos/news about the server beginning and cheer the admin if you feel good on his/her server.

- In all the cases, don't invest yourself too much in a "muted server", if nobody is talking, if nobody interact with you, it's not good, it could disapear anytime.... as it's private.

- you could find the last players you've played with in your "steam contact menu", try to send him some message via his/her steam profil.

You could mod your hosted server more easily with new maps IF the service allow it.

The Walkthroughs below could work ONLY with every service which provide Ftp and MySQL accesses. So check wisely what your're about to pay.
