Having a two handed weapon slot filled doesn't do anything on its own until you actually use the weapon with your char.
Using a 2H weapon (be it melee or ranged) for any character doesn't have penalties on its own. However, being more proficient with a certain weapon type does increase your DPS with that weapon type.
However, it's worth noting that "Shield Bash" of the slave warrior only works if you shield is equipped.
If it's on the back, then it will proc on direct damage taken from behind.

Yeah i noticed some Gear has Penalies but the "H Axe or Sword didnt. Thats why i asked.
ABout the Shield on the Back i find this a neat addition.

I wish however that the stats would apply when you have a Weapon on the Back, since its on your INventory/ Back!
