Does anyone else find Interior Designer confusing?
Maybe it's just me, but I find Interior Designer very confusing, despite logging over 2300 hours in House Flipper 1 and 128 hours currently in House Flipper 2, as well as a handful of other interior design games.

I'm trying to complete the Career mode but somehow there's a disconnect for me between what the email says and what I have to do. I have managed to complete a few of them, but every time I'm really unsure what the heck I'm doing and what's being asked of me, given the choices in the shop.

For instance, I just started the "vintage craze" job, where the lady says she's crazy for vintage items especially mid-century modern. However, the room she wants designed is clearly Victorian, and the furniture choices are also Victorian, not much in the way of mid-century style. In HF1, I designed an entire Victorian style hotel ("The Eclectic Hotel," which I featured on my just-for-fun YouTube channel), as well as several mid-century style houses, so I'm pretty familiar with each style. I just stared at the Victorian wallpaper and furniture choices, my mind a blank, and then closed the game.

I should mention that I'm an autistic adult (neurodivergent), so my mind thinks differently than others, but as I said, I've had no problem in HF1, and HF2 has mostly been straightforward as well.

Anyone else experiencing this, or is it just me?

i agree with you, it was quite confusing doing those jobs.
i've also played hours and hours on HF1 & 2 and others and am also autistic. the whole game is a bit confusing to me to be honest...

one thing i've found confusing, is that despite finishing all those jobs and unlocking items with the points i've earned, when i next log in i have to do it all again because the game seems to have reset my points to zero and all of the previously unlocked items are locked again?!

i like the game despite this though, because it's images/objects look good texture-wise. there isn't a lot of choice with customising things (like colours of tiles or kitchen cabinets) or variety of items though
