Heh. TBH I knew this was the issue as soon as I saw the thread title 😅. This is one of those ‘yellow paint’ moments. How do you telegraph the weak point without being super obvious?
In short—we did put a few subtle indicators to give the player some hints without being too hand-holdy. There’s text on the door indicating it’s the core exhaust, and I tried to break up the lava flow to reveal the flashing weakpoint. But in the end the missiles are the main giveaway! I’m glad you figured it out! 🤘🏼
Seriously - is there any problem missiles *can't* solve?
I wish it could solve the super long animations the boss goes through during his intro and every now and then I wouldn't mind some tweaks there, it's quite a pace breaker compared to other bosses.
