What are regarded as the best Dynasty Warriors games on steam?
I see a lot of them have mixed reviews, especially the empires games. I remember trying one of the Empires games out at a friend's house a long time ago and I really liked it, but I'm not really sure what's going on with these PC ports or how they all compare to each other. It looks like 8XL has the most solid ratings of all the games. Idk if 9 or 9 empires are worth checking out or if 8 Empires is considered better than 9 empires. Thanks ahead of time

I only have 7 and 8, and I much prefer 8, it feels more alive in between maps. But I don't think the gameplay is any less fun between either of them.

I have no experience with empires

On Steam. I think this one is the best. 9 is a disaster; & 7 is basically an incomplete version of 8. Or I guess u could say 8 is a completed version of 7. Idk much about the others.
