If you mean that the file integrity caught noting, and there was nothing to fix, you might need to find and delete the TKGRAPHICSSETTINGS.MXML file located in Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\No Man's Sky\Binaries\SETTINGS
or disable Steams Back Ground Recording. Under Steam > Settings > Game Recording. << check this first as it is not reliant of the Game being launched first.
Maybe uninstall and check if the No Man’s Sky directory is completely gone or if some mod file got leftover and is getting picked up. And you could look that specific mod up and see what files it installs and try to verify they are gone.
I asked if you removed the mod manager? You have not clarified this yet. Mod manager have a tendency to load mods that are outdate and and hook the NMS.EXE. Without proper knowledge of how dated or up to date a mod is, or how you've set the update this/that/game, we've only the generic NMS error code to go by..
And that tends to be the offending culprit. A outdated MOD> Remove, uninstall the mod manager. Let us know. Thanks
I dont think i used mods, all i did was expanding inventory with a NMS save editor years ago.
Not a bit of a mod i guess.
Why did you mention having a mod manager installed? You don't know the name of the application managing the mod for the other game? Do you know the game you were modding?
