The secret statue isn't a secret/random chance thing. It's normally located at the room that's in the screenshot (SPOILERS) https://gtm.you1.cn/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1755513873, and the Steam achievement handler is really glitchy. It's actually required to break the fake statue to progress through the game. When you break it the normal special move fanfare plays, but it just says "NO POWER." If you don't have the achievement, you'll need to start a new game.

Did you even read what I've said? It's NOT about "not getting the achievement after breaking the statue", it's about STATUE NOT BEING THERE ANYWHERE AT ALL! I've had NO problems with getting any of the other achievements so far (you can check my profile's data for that), not even a single one time, but this fake statue thing just doesn't work BECAUSE THERE'S NO STATUE TO BREAK. It seems like this IS actually a missable thing, then, as this so-called fake statue seems to be available ONLY during the first story-based traverse through the Tule Tree and I've missed it, instead breaking the REAL one (there was no "NO POWER" message, I actually got the power just fine immediately) and then leaving the location to continue to other parts, thus the fake statue DISAPPEARED and cannot be destroyed AFTERWARDS. There's TWO of them. Sigh...seems like the only way for me to get this achievement now, is to start over at New Game+/Hard mode.

Okay, I've SOLVED this "problem" and got the achievement just fine, but...I seriously HAD TO START ENTIRE GAME OVER AGAIN FROM THE BEGINNING (via New Game+/Hard mode) to finally do this! THIS IS A COMPLETELY MISSABLE THING AND THE FAKE STATUE WILL DISAPPEAR FOR THE ENTIRE REST OF THE GAME IF YOU LEAVE TULE TREE/FAST TRAVEL AFTER YOU GET THE NEW SKILL FROM THE REAL STATUE! DO NOT LEAVE!
People, I've learned this the hard way, so, please, don't make same mistake as the one I did. You know now, so be better. Destroy BOTH statues during your very first traversal through the Tule Tree, do NOT leave the location until you do! This is the ONLY way to do this without any problems whatsoever! I seriously feel like this info needs to be stickied or added to the overall fray of "troubleshooting" section. I don't know if this is actually a bug of the game or if it was intentionally made this way by the game's developers, but what I'm 100% sure of is that this is a BAD thing.
