I absolutely loved the first game and immediately fell for this one as well. The art, music, story-telling and gameplay have all been improved upon for what currently in the game right now. Which leads me to say that my biggest and only issue with the game right now... is that there isn't more due to the game being in an early access state. While that in of itself is completely fine it just feels weird for a metroidvania game to not launch with a complete story to playthough. There's a lot to this game and I'm aware, but it was bumming me out that there were a couple areas I couldn't explore as I was really getting into the game let alone the combat. I'm for sure going to remain patient for the full game to come out, but as of right now I think it's a good time to revisit the first game to get my fix of great metroidvanias.

Fun, but I found the first one to have more charm in its rougher edges. Don't get me wrong though, I am interested in the game; but what is available now is way way to short. No idea why you would early access this amount of content, unless you needed cash flow. Review will probably change when I can finish game... but this is a long demo not early access.

[edit] What I'd get is listed in the early access drop down, but you have to drop it down. Honestly while it takes a bit of my bite away it doesn't change my feelings on the matter; it still doesn't feel like a early access type deal. Also let me use my summons while using my auto attacks, I have to stop attacking to queue the gunner to do stuff even though it makes a point of saying you use them together (and you can). The no contact damage is a nice change though.

Same as the first game, looking forward to a full release
