Kaetram v2.2.2a/b/c & Christmas Event

The following update post is to list all the minor hotfixes since v2.2.2 was released, it includes 4 minor patches to the game to address and issues and release the Christmas update.

- Fixed mobs not attacking back after respawning.
- Fixed bosses being able to have tiers in instances.
- Fixed mounts not dismounting when interacting with resource.
- Fixed issues with instancing resource nodes spawning in the overworld.
- Fixed being able to continue interacting with a resource after they despawn.
- Fixed being able to login on top of a resource and sending you back to the Coder's room.
- Added more attack patterns to some bosses.
- Minor tweaks to boss logic for all new bosses.
- Moved the entrance to Soul Dragon to be more accessible.
- Updated the divinity rates.
- Updated new armour recipes.
- Updated the new armour sets stats.
- Updated snowball and witch hat chances.
- Steph destroyed the backend so we have to start from scratch.
- Added Big Orange Man to the cosmetic store.
- Adjusted Divinity rates again.
- Adjusted the 3 new bosses to follow the combat triangle.
- Adjusted foraging to follow the same formula as other gathering skills.
- Fixed thorns enchantment causing Ironman to not be registered for the kill.
- Fixed boss minions appearing in the overworld.
- Fixed Patreon gifts not activating.
- Fixed being able to note quest items.
- Fixed Coral Quest rewards.
- Fixed gathering Death Lilies with no difficulty.
- Fixed Rebirth of Snow returning blank dialogues.
- Updated most bosses names.
- Increased overall Magic damage and reduced cooldowns.
- Tier 1s damage by 13% and 50% cooldown reduction.
- Tier 2s damage by 8% and 60% cooldown reduction.
- Tier 3s damage by 14% and 40% cooldown reduction.
- Tier 4s damage by 9% and 33% cooldown reduction.
- Walking Wallet by 420% and 69% cooldown reduction.
- Unruined Ruthless and Moon Greataxe attack speed.
- Added and made the boss loottables spread-out more depending on their difficulty.
- Unupdated most boss names.
- Lootboxes added for Christmas.
- Higher chances from Santa and Santa's Elves.
- Possible through Gathering skills too! (Currently bugged, will fix ASAP)
- Event Store available for event coins or Ktokens.
- Made Death Lilies, Meteorite Ore and Soul Logs easier to harvest and slightly higher chance to obtain.
- Secrets are out there and no one knows about them.

After six months of dedicated play, earning top spots on multiple leaderboards and building a strong community with my clan, I was banned—despite having explicit permission from a lead developer for my actions. If players risk bans based on speculation and without solid proof, I cannot recommend this game. I received permission to log into a guildmate's account to distribute resources after they quit. Darkness.

The game is so dark now.. all the time, with brief moments of daylight. Its weird to see a developer patch in a day/night cycle but all of the light sources in the game dont work.. so everyone is walking around in the dark complaining about it being too dark. Weirder that it was needed to be pushed out without testing, if it was tested im sure a dev would have seen that it was dark everywhere.. even in town or in a dungeon or inside a building where the candles dont work at night. Even server restart st...

This is our first major content update in quite some time! With our last couple of patches focusing on addressing all the desync issues, we are finally able to focus on adding new bosses and mechanics. We have worked tirelessly to add new music, items, recipes, quests, achievements, and much more. The spotlight for this update goes to the instancing system, you may now reserve special instances to fight bosses (currently exclusive to the new bosses but more may be added.) This system is still in its infancy and may receive more updates and tweaks as we progress.

Note: If there are no more players in an instance, all the items get despawned. Dying in an instance alone is risky because the instance will self-destruct upon your death.

Secondly, we have opened up two new areas in the game. The extended lava area and Chymos (the red forest.) These areas will continue receiving updates and will be expanded in the upcoming updates.

In our upcoming updates we want to focus on reworking our PvP mechanics and adding minigames. We expect to release our Christmas event sometime around December 15th.

This will be the last major update for the year, the development team will be going on a break from December 15th until early January. We expect to resume regular updates somewhere around January 14th. Thank you everyone for an amazing year!

- Fixes attacking a target that is not in PVP.
- Fixes right click menu cutting off item names.
- Fixes names displaying too far high above a mob.
- Fixes some quests not displaying the text properly.
- Fixes the store sell price when selling items individually vs in a stack.
- Fixes being able to have inventory and bank open if having 'auto-hide inventory' disabled.
- Fixes a bug where selecting an item on the exchange didn't select the exact price of that item.

- Reworked the settings interface.
- Adjusted Lumberjacking experience.
- Updated the item note icon in the bank.
- Increased scroll drops and scroll crafting methods.
- New areas are now available to be discovered.
- Decreased the amount of mobs to kill in elite tasks.
- Optimized the lighting system to hide unused lights when not nearby.
- Your usual dose of backend refactors, optimizations, and organization that no one finds interesting but is definitely needed.

Strawberries?

pretty much around the starting area there is a quest requiring you to have a few items among them are 2 strawberries... i have yet to see a single strawberry in any capacity so far. Are they just not added in the game yet or am i really just overlooking them....
