Hello! Steam Cloud saving system will probably be activated around tomorrow if all testings go correctly, that also means adding the game to Geforce Now is one step closer.

Changelog:
- Implemented 17 new lights in its respective Builder tab.

- Added a half version of the current custom shelf as new furniture.

- Added new options settings:
* An option to toggle always running mode (Shift key would then be used to walk)
* An option for deactivating browser, this doesn’t work ingame and has to be set from main menu.
* Two options to change crosshair size and color.
* An option to confine mouse cursor inside the window.
* An option to modify night dim factor. This mitigates the auto-exposure correction during night, a factor of 0 will deactivate it.

- Added a new field in the pricing machine and now prices can be set via percentage, it also rounds prices automatically down to first decimal. For quickly price setting, select he percentage, keep selecting products and then press the assigned key to numpad accept.

- Gave more height to basic fridge and double fridge, this fixes bottles not entirely fitting them and makes products like yoghurt win a stack.

- Door transit states should now be saved between sessions.

- Fixed an issue in which player’s footsteps would stop sounding for a moment after leaving the vehicle.

- Employees will now try to ignore the new door transit system.

- Load Store menu area is now scrollable.

- Optimized the geometry of plenty of products for a small performance gain, some of them will be retweaked again.

- Tweaked some vehicle parameters to check if there are improvements to the teleport or floating players issue.

Changelog:

- 13 new products related to child care. Diapers, baby food, milk & milk powder, cleaning wipes, etc. Franchise perks are located parting from pharmacy.

- Added 3 modes of snapping in the builder (left control key by default, reassignable):
* Free mode: no snapping.
* Grid center: centers perfectly to grid and subgrid nodes. Useful for decoration, lights or anything that should be set every x distance.
* Furniture snap: snaps furniture together. Have to look at the side of the furniture players want to have their new prop snapped.
Note grid snapping is not that useful for big furniture placing and may implement a secondary mode that aligns props backside to the grid.

- Store door transits can now be customized via a panel above each door, states are: open, only entrance, only exit and closed. Panels won’t work if that leads to an unsupported combination for customers p.e. all doors closed. Doors lack closing/opening animations for now.

- New first iterations for these localizations: Portuguese, Polish and Czech.

- Modified self checkout pivot which was needed for better snapping. This might lead to bad positioning when loading the game so players might have to readjust them again.

- Added a vertical array of icons for each tab in the Builder for better visual navigation.

- Widened the two doors that go from boxes spawn point to warehouse.

- Products in boxes carried by employees or players should now be added up correctly to the total box counts in manager blackboard.

- Disabled most Halloween content excepting props and paintables.

- Have modified how saving game settings work as a previous step to allow Steam Cloud saving. If any player notices a game setting not saving successfully between sessions feel free to report.

- Replaced some icons in the perk’s blackboard for some more fitting ones.

- Players are now not able to delete the last manned checkout and will receive a warning.

- Fixed an issue in which trash would barely spawn in higher difficulties.

- Increased a few products count in boxes including toilet paper which goes from 6 to 8.

We are not forgetting most requested features among others: better vehicle handling, more employees and their customization, a more straight forward way of sync TVs content like Youtube, more permissions/roles variety, cloud saving activation, etc.

Small patch which introduces the first drivable vehicle. The next feature we want to study its implementation is grid snapping + furniture snapping.

Halloween music, ghosts and extra props visible in city will disappear this incoming weekend but decoration and paintables will persist in case players want to use them.

Changelog:
- Implemented a new prop under the devices menu tab: the Mini Transport Vehicle. It is rideable by players and allow 6 boxes to be carried on it. Since it is its first implementation there could be problems that will be solved over time. Controls are:
* WASD to accelerate, decelerate and turn.
* E to get out
* F to honk
* Space and right click to do a tiny hop forward or backward respectively in case it gets stuck somehow or for some stubborn walkway.
Boxes remaining in the transport will not save for now so make sure to store them before leaving the game.

- Added 24 new achievements and the respective ingame stats tracking for them to work. Achievements are normally awarded at the end of day.

- Related to previous point, the cat can now be petted.

- Added a shortcut button in manager blackboard to order all the current products in view at once. It is the big + located in the bottom right corner of the area.

- Moved the 4x recycling box perk in the tree so it’s more useful early game.

- Modified tutorial to not mention the deprecated tablet.

- Restored TVs collision which was removed long ago due to not having tables at hand could cause players to get stuck.

Spooky times are upon us.

Changelog:
- Halloween update additions which include:
* A new tab in the Builder for seasonal Halloween decorations with 13 props.
* 16 new Halloween paintables.
* 37 new hats.
* New music tracks exclusive for Halloween both for main menu and ingame.
* A small ingame mini-event.

- Added a new machine in the devices tab that allows all prices to be changed from there. It is meant for commodity in advanced stores so its price is set for now at 90.000$.

- Boxes have now each a different color depending on the product group they contain. Brown for basic products, white for pharmacy, blue for seafood, etc.

- Products in the manager blackboard are now organized by their common group instead of each having their own tier. P.e. Basic Products I, II, III etc is now only Basic Products.

- Pressing escape in single player stores will now pause the game.

- Reassigned numpad keys now should work correctly for credit card checkouting.

- Store won’t be able to be opened without at least one manned checkout and will give a warning.

- To prevent accidental deleting it is not possible to remove a container furniture until it is emptied of all its products or boxes.

- An issue which prevented coop players to give extra funds has been fixed, this was useful for multiplayer faster starts and have less value in ongoing games.

Hullo! There have been big changes related to the Builder and decoration tablet so make sure to check the logs below.

Changelog:
- Decoration tablets have been deprecated and all their contents moved to the Builder, which now features several tabs. Two new keys (Z and X) allow changing tabs, they can be reassigned in options to inputs of player’s convenience. This will help reorganizing items better when more arrive (a separate tab for lights, devices, decoration, etc.)

- An improvement related to previous point: decoration can now be moved with the builder instead of having to delete and rebuy it for repositioning.

- Deleting is now done from the builder in a new element just below Place Mode.

- Reworking the builder has now allowed being able to delete big furniture during nights but players will have to dispatch all customers first and wait until they leave the area. Currently the only way to do so was during mornings.

- Added 10 more expansions to the store to be acquired.

- Added an extra door for customer access along with its extra entrance space (available since Day 1).

- Since the auxiliar door left to the store was removed for new expansions, doors are now permanently opened for convenience.

- New additional furniture for produce, it’s less cumbersome than produce A and three of them should barely fit between pillars. Produce A can now have two stacks of most trays except artichokes to compensate its volume.

- Added a self-checkout furniture for 2500$. They won’t replace normal checkouts entirely as customers with a lot of items will not prefer them but they do help a lot nevertheless. As they are customer manned, they have a slower product checkout speed and there’s a tiny chance a product won’t be checked in (won’t affect statistics), chance that is increased with difficulty.

- The issue in the pre-patch where self-checkout wouldn’t count towards franchise experience and income should be solved.

- Improved customers shopping list pathing, they should be more efficient and do not roam the store so much which inherently means more customers per day.

- Dances and numpad keys required for pricing or credit card checkouting are now assignable in options (22 new assignments). Players using Numpad Plus for deleting values may have to reassign it in Controls.

- Improved certain behaviors performance, the FPS gain can be up to a 15% especially in the case of big stores.

Hullo! This is the first update related to produce: small fruit and vegetables are organized in trays for convenience but we are considering also including bins or baskets for “in-bulk” products. With this patch the total product amount available rises to 214.

Changelog:
- Implemented 23 new products related to produce: red/green apples, clementines, oranges, pears, lemons, mangoes, avocados, kiwis, papayas, strawberries, cherries, artichokes, zucchinis, carrots, tomatoes, po-ta-toes, onions, bananas, melons, pineapples, pumkins and watermelons.

- Implemented a new furniture piece: the produce shelf A. This will probably be the last furniture piece before reworking the builder menu as it seems cramped right now. More shelves will arrive, as well as a more vertical furniture piece for produce.

- Added four new storage modules to be bought and will probably add soon another row but for the store itself.

- Started to implement several optimization features, there should be in certain cases between +10% and +25% FPS boost in fully upgraded stores with dense furniture or storage. Extra optimization features are planned to be added as adding more features is starting to take its toll on performance.

- Empty boxes can now be bought from the Manager’s blackboard. The image shown in the box will be random.

- Restocking employees will now try to merge leftover box contents with others in storage if they exist.

- Added a new switch in the employee’s blackboard in case players want to interrupt box recycling.

- Slightly displaced store’s end’s wall for better furniture fitting there.

- Modified avoidance radius for employees, this will make them less prone to get stuck with each other but also will make them overlap visually more. Feel free to report if there are still issues with them to further tweak their values.

- Added a visual effect for products checkouting, they will drop themselves inside newly added bags in each checkout. Visual effects and animations will be slowly added.

How’s everyone? The first iteration of the customization update is now available for public testing: fully painting the store and annex facilities should cost between 300.000$ (with cheap materials) to 4.000.000$ (if you pave it in gold!) Have fun experimenting, more materials will be added in the future.

Changelog for this week:
- Implemented the first customization update. Players will be able to use the green tablet to paint up to around 3500 entities including most floors, ceilings and walls. Pillars and beams will be customizable when possible as they require some particular changes as well as the exterior facades.

- Removed the vents for now as they made painting the ceiling difficult and implemented a new decoration to compensate: the ceiling vent.

- Reorganization: there’s a new room outside the store which will act as a restroom and players will be able to decorate with custom furniture in a future patch. Also moved the jail there.

- At least one of the security employees will now pick up dropped stolen products. The rest will stand guard.

- Improved product placement: they should appear perfectly centered on each container type.

- Introduced a storage shelf variant with no labels so new storage system can now be combined with the old one. We will sort a bit better the builder furniture list in a future rework.

- Detergents and Hand Soap now face forward correctly.

- Made some fixes and rebaked the pathing for customers and employees, they shouldn’t go in the area outside storage anymore.

- Hosts can now open and close their games willingly with a new button in escape menu. Players will be unable to join a closed game.

- Slightly Reduced thieving chance for coop games but increased max selectable difficulty from 7 to 10.

- Adjusted storage shelf width which was slightly higher in one of it sides.

Hello! Small list but substantial patch, it preloads more than 70 materials intended for the customization update and color variations for some of them.

Changelog:
- Added most of necessary resources for the incoming first customization update. Players are now able to preview the customization tablet in a wall of the cool room without money cost until full implementation (this wall is only meant for local visualization and won’t sync between players).

- Added a new furniture shelf type, a lower wooden counter which fits 10 different products. Introducing more types of containers has brought certain issues out like weird product placement in some cases, we will attempt to fix this by either modifying certain products or trying to center them to the shelf accordingly.

- Implemented a High Latency setting in Options. This will allow players with high ping which have problems when restocking place products at a slower pace but in bulks of 5, hopefully leaving more time to sync with the host.

- Reduced Standing Freezer width just enough so 3 freezers will fit in the shortest distance between pillars.

- Implemented closing and opening a checkout lane. Existing customers in a lane will stay there for now until served. We had to alter some core behavior for employees for this to happen so report if there are any issues.

- Improved the perks that affect cashier employees checkout speed.

- Fixed the two shampoos being the same model case latest update introduced.

- Corrected an issue related to the standing freezer which probably made customers stand in bulk in front of it or even made employees go outside the map.

- Left a tablet outside for people who built stuff in doors and locked themselves out when loading.

Is it a plane, is it an UFO? No, it’s your employees being able to chase those pesky thieves.
Changelog:

- Added two new product franchises: Pharmacy I and Pharmacy II which will branch from Hygiene in the perks blackboard. Includes stuff like basic medicines, vitamins, etc. The next franchises added will probably be fruits and vegetables.

- Added a new store furniture piece: the standing freezer.

- Added a first iteration of security role for employees. They will try to run after thieves and hit them but won’t pick up products from the floor for now.

- Implemented a network core change that will hopefully reduce latency for placing products in those who sometimes have missing items when restocking.

- Players can now merge boxes contents by clicking a box with the same product in a storage shelf. Being able to do so directly in boxes isn’t implemented yet as ground boxes don’t show their quantity for now.

- Clients should now be able to check each number of products in ground boxes in the manager’s blackboard. This doesn’t count the boxes players are carrying around yet (both for host and clients).

- Added two new options: Bloom setting (useful if you have overlighting in your store) and turning off videos generally (some old graphics card won’t support this feature).

- Adjusted some products for better performance, should scratch some FPS especially in bigger stores.

- Fixed an issue in which a franchise point was automatically awarded every time the game was loaded. (In ongoing games It should happen only once again and then not anymore)

- Customers paying with money should pay with less weirder amounts of money when value is high.

- Red beans, big tuna and premium soda now face forward correctly.

- Fixed an issue in which employees would go through the store’s doors when closed.

- Reduced thieves max speed and they will roam around a bit more.

- Fixed an issue in which cheese bags would get in front of price label inside fridges.
