Steam Deck Compatibility
I was wondering if any sort of SteamOS/Linux compatibility was planned down the line for TC2/TCM? I think it’d be a great game to play on those devices (especially with Offline mode), and would bump up competition with FH5 and TDU:SC being compatible on it too. If not, it’d be nice for the devs to consider it at some point.

Hey ThatOneMarioMain,

Thanks for your question.
At the moment we do not have any official information on Steam Deck compatibility or future

Even though we cannot guarantee it, many games should work on Steam Deck via different compatibility layers.

Have you tried Steam Deck forums to try to look for ways to launch the game on your handheld?
Steam Deck Discussion
As far as I know, the issue stems from TCM's version of BattleEye not being compatible with Linux.

Though if you want to be very cheeky, what you could try is to keep your PC running and stream the game to your Steam Deck via Steam's streaming feature (Steam Remote play).

My issue is the most powerful computer I have IS my Steam Deck, so if I just had a way to play it natively without having to dual boot Windows on it would be fantastic, but that's up to the devs to decide whether I can do that or not.

I will also mention I do have the ability to stream TCM/TC2 through my Xbox, but again, I'd like the ability to play it natively when I'm not home.

I don’t think looking there’s going to find me a solution since it’s an anti-cheat problem, but I know the devs can opt-in on Battleye Linux support which would easily solve this issue. If you’re able to get any word through to The Crew’s dev team about this, that would be fantastic.
Anyone find a way to play on the steam deck please let me know.
