Path of Exile 2

Path of Exile 2

Gear should not be Trade dependent.
We need more Currency. Less RNG in crafting on Gear.

We should not have to rely on Trade to get better Gear. Defeats the whole purpose of playing. Bad Game Design here.

Obviously you are right.
Personally I would just upgrade drops in SSF version of the game, so ppl that like trade, can play trade mode, and if ppl hate trade, just play SSF

They'll just complain that it takes too long to gear like with Last Epoch's Circle of Fortune vs. Merchant's Guild, which it'll always be faster to gear with trading obviously. I say don't give people what they want, they're whiny.
we need more crafting tools.
tools that already exist in poe1: scour orbs, alteration orbs, and crafting bench

and make essences produce rares like in poe1. these are garbage.

Just play SSF and you can play the game on your own pace without caring about trade or the economy.

I rerolled SSF after clearing all the content on trade and I'm currentrly farming t16 waystones and have beaten the breach and expedition bosses on the 3rd difficulty.

You don't need to trade to be successful, just pick up items, craft a little and gamble for items with your gold.

The drops rate of items are fine now, the only things i would like to see more of are the citadels for the bringer of ash keys, they take a really long time to farm in SSF.
But drops in ssf are the same right? I play ssf pretty much, but without selecting it.

yes, people just misunderstood point of topic, he didn't don't want to trade but he think he should can slow gain even a little bit without trade by self, and i'm having the same issue stuck with grind and craft RNG but i'm waiting for change

And the drops are also not balanced for 1 player. I get way too many "turns this item to blue" and "add 1 modifier to blue item" orbs compared to everything else. Like these orbs should go down in drop rate after some levels for them to make sense. Me trying to get a good weapon and I have to slam many high value orbs to even have a chance meanwhile trade player just buys their ideal weapon for a chaos. And don't even talk about getting resists on armor...

Trade doesn't really make much sense.
drops are already overtuned as they are

Indeed they are, the low number of drops is overtuned.
If you want more currency you have to do higher tier maps and have lots of "increased item rarity" on your gear.

They changed it from poe 1 and now rarity works on currency items too, its really stupid.

When i farmed tier 16 with 300 increased rarity from gear it dropped around 15 ex every map and divines every 10 map or so.

tldr; if you want more loot farm high tier maps and get rarity on gear.
I never trade, im doing ok, tier 10 maps no problem as of yet.

But you would be doing much more ok if you traded.

Maybe but im good, i dont mind crafting or altering my build to kill. I like the rush when i actually get a drop or craft an item thats good for my build. Im in no rush.

Try Last Epoch. You can choose a faction in that game from two. One that is all about trading and gives access to an Auction house, and another that has no access to trading and massively boosts your personal drop rates and gives you specific "quests" to earn key loot drops so you can target farm very efficiently.

You can switch between these factions freely but all loot is tied to the faction that delivered it to you, so you cannot game the system. So for example if I buy an item at the AH, I cannot equip it on any of my Alts unless they are members of the traders guild etc. If my non-trader Alt gets an amazing drop due to the other guild's quest mechanic, it can never be traded or equipped on a char that isn't in the questing guild.

It is one of the most beautiful and satisfying designs for getting good loot I have ever seen in an ARPG as it is extremely satisfying all player types. (Like most things in Last Epoch; because that game respects your time gives you many many ways to get great loot to make great builds).
