Polish your price
Hi Mark! Big fan of your videos, hopefully soon enough a big fan your game :)
But
I saw on steamdb that you followed Steam's Suggested Pricing which unfortunately is very unfair to Polish gamers - we are economically behind Western European countries yet are expected to pay more for our beloved games :C
If you want, you can read more here -> https://kursnasteam.pl/?lang=en
And finally - I and the rest of Polish gamers would highly appreciate if you could adjust the price of your game :)
Thanks and congratulations on launching Mind Over Magnet <3

Having heard from a couple devs who've adjusted the price of their games relative to regional average income (Pirate Software/Thor comes mind), they make more money from the sales in economically disadvantaged countries than they lose to people buying their games for cheaper through VPNs and key resellers. Plus, being a fan of GMTK for 7-8 years now, I get the feeling that Mark Brown would be fine losing a small amount of profits due to bad actors than deprive countries full of people from being able to play the game at all (or resort to piracy).

I'm open to this - what would you recommend as a sensible price for a $10 USD game in złoty?

That's so nice to hear!
I'm a wrong person to ask though, as I'm compulsive game buyer with too much money, mostly doing it for others but I'd assume something between 34.99 and 39.99 zloty would be fair, but I can try to reach out and do some more research tomorrow or the day after so that it's a reasonable number not based on my feeling and quick glance at steamdb :)

Ok, so I gathered a few games which took part in #PolishOurPrices action and here are the titles, price in $$, price in zloty and percentage deviation from Steam's Suggested Price
  • Chicken Police: Into the HIVE!
    $24.99
    100,00zł
    -13%
  • Inkulinati
    $24.99
    89,99zł
    -22%
  • Factorio / Factorio: Space Age
    $35.00
    130,00zł
    -20%
(though once upon a time there was a moment when it cost 20$ but 50zł :o Much love to our Czech neighbours <3)
  • Harold Halibut
    $34.99
    137,69zł
    -15%
  • SILENT HILL 2
    $69.99
    299,00zł
    -8%
  • Felvidek
    $10.99
    44,00zł
    -12%
  • Hades II
    $29.99
    117,00zł
    -16%
  • Another Crab's Treasure
    $29.99
    89,99zł
    -35%
All data comes from SteamDB.

So as you can see it varies and lot's of bigger and smaller titles apply different adjustments to the price. So taking above under consideration the lowest price would be 29.99zł (like in Another Crab's Treasure) and highest 41.40zł (like in Silent Hill 2). Seeing this I stand with my recommended range between 35-40zł. If you wish to know more or need any more data feel free to ask. Thanks again for such a positive response :)

ps. Bought the game yesterday, can't wait to play it ^^
