This is all what I wanted to know!
Damn, that's super sad.
Hopefully it will be added to the options at some point.
it's not, marker only appear when you open your map and you have to find the map first.
he is talking about things like ammo/ weapon durability and health bar
I have been watching YT videos. There's a diamond shaped marker in every video.
So, can you turn that thing off or not?
Glad I'm not the only one who wants this HUD and dot off option.
We need to get rid of that nasty dot. It is really annoying.
The health indicator is bit unnecessary while exploring and should only appear when Indy takes damage (say from falling or getting stung by scorpions etc) or while engaging in combat otherwise it should auto-hide for a more immersive experience.
Workaround
I find this very annoying and not usefull at all.
Install HudSight 2 from https://hudsight.com/
Select the Dot-4x4 and make it black (Color mask R:0, G:0, B:0) and now the crosshair is "gone".
Assign a Visibility hotkey for cutscenes, if you can see it.
and an option to turn off the indicator for the whip. i would like to find beams and flagpoles myself to use the whip on instead of of a big fat icon onscreen that shows i can hang onto it
