* **Nacissu**

A girl the boy met after he was sent to the 7th floor of hospital told him that anyone who's sent there is terminally ill and he'll die soon. the boy who accepted his fate continued living there and meeting the girl everyday... one day after they watched a TV commerical about Narcissus they asked each other if they want to die on the 7th floor or their home.... both answered they don't want to die in any place of the two.

The two of them run away from the hospital by stealing the boy's father car... they make a journey across japan.. since the boy didn't have money they stole clothes and ran away from... before the girl told him that she had money.

They reach the Narcissu fields they saw on TV... but by that time their medicine ran out and the girl became weaker and weaker.. she decieded she wants to die there and comitted sucide by drowning in the sea. The boy returned to the hospital, told everyone what happened. and waited to die there.

* **Narcissu 2nd** is a prequel set 7 years before the first game featuring a cheerful woman and the things she wants to do before her death... It had a lot of things happening so I can't summerize it in few lines. there are many important events that effect how you see the characters and the ending.

Thank you so much for that great summary. I played two hours before realizing the story was too drawn out or segmented for my tastes.

Isn't the Protagonist surviving essential for the epilogue of Narcissu 2? What version did you play, and when? Maybe there's a different version before they decided to write a prequel (Narcissu 2)...

Yeah... Other games like "Narcissu Zero" explore what happened to the main character of the first game after he returns to the hospital. (Though it was a cameo, so it's not a reason to buy the VN for.)
