Wtf no ng+ - Developers please add
I really appreciated the proposition, until I realized that the game lasts 20 hours for 50€ without the slightest ng+ to take advantage of the higher difficulty levels without bothering with lxp and costumes.
As a result I wouldn't do it again because I'm too lazy to re-unlock everything.
NOTICE TO DEV: Added an ng+ out of pity, it's completely stupid that it's not native.

Just choose missions and replay, no?

I guess OP wants to do another full story playthrough from beginning to end but with all abilities and outfits unlocked already, which you can't do with mission replay because the early loops and whatnot are only available on a fresh playthrough.

Really not even NG+ ? That's bad and makes this game even worse.

Since when people started expecting ng+ from story-focused games

Is this how you keep defending this game with this kind of logic mr dev

The game literally explains to you at the end (true ending) that you can go back and challenge previous missions at higher difficulties.

No idea if that actually unlocks the higher difficulty achievements though, I suspect the game keeps track of your progress so I'm assuming it will work.

While you can replay missions after getting the true ending. You don't get to see any of the early cut-scenes again, and you can only play the latest iterations of some missions.

What they could have done is having a "new game+" where you start from the very beginning. But with all character abilities/stats carried over. Maybe with an even harder difficulty option.

That would have been an easy way to add some additional value to the game, without presumably too much effort from the developers. I think they kinda wasted potential of the characters abilities, because after you unlocked most abilities you barely get to play with them before reaching the end game.

Yeah - I'd like some quality of life updates, like being able to see which difficulty you completed missions at - a movie/scene viewer, a photo mode, ... things like that.

Since people expect every game to include everything all other games have in them.

Since story focused games started including character upgrades and having multiple difficulty options.

It's a shame we can replay the most recent timeline version but not the earlier ones to get the difficulty trophies with upgrades intact. I may have attempted to get the platinum if it had NG+ or a full chapter select so I could just change the difficulty to hard or nightmare and continue that way with my otherwise 100% file.

Starting from scratch and needing to remember where memories are and doing all of it again with the side characters doesn't appeal to me right after playing through it. (particularly after doing the collectible clean ups).

Same, and I didn’t want to ruin the experience by doing it on Nightmare from the start.

Hopefully they will release an update that adds some qol changes.

wouldn't mind a NG+ mode. I mean you unlock new characters and outfits along with EXP to level up their skills. but when you unlocked everything there is no game left to play because you are pretty much done and the credits roll.

a ng+ would't be too bad, at least to keep the outfits and the unlocked skills for the team.
