Ori's gender?
I'm planning to integrate some gender related jokes in my game experience-based comic, but that is the point, it's not mentioned. Except in the german translation Ori is described as female. Fail or Fact? Opinions would be helpful.

The game's site refers to Ori as male in one place, but I got word from the devs that Ori's gender was deliberately left ambiguous - and this same dev refers to Ori as a she. So hell if I know.

Even better! this mystey is good stuff to work with.

There was a discussion on reddit about that. Either Ori has no gender or everyone can choose for himself/herself which gender Ori has ;)

I'm got better opinions and inspirations from this as I expected! Gonna post the comic on the community-site when it's finished. stay tuned!

It won't be that kind of comic.

Ori is female.

Sad that people have to sexualise such a beautiful game but then again this is the internet isn't it it's full of cancerous trash and only trashy people use Rule 34.

99.99% of them never got laid so that place is their substitute.

This is exacly right. Though the translations and the game's site might state otherwise sometimes, Ori is deliberately left genderless in the English version of the game :) so it's open for individual interpretation! We thought it was a nice touch in these times where gender seems to be quite the topic :D

I call her a she as well, but I'm just as right/wrong as people who call Ori a he :)

I thought that Ori was a pangendered omnisexual. I guess I was wrong.

Whatever you fancy. Rule 34 mention made me sad.

Spoilers

Ori is a He (says at the end of game)

in the german translation Ori is described as "eine Waise", an female orphan. The reddit post Zeldas Link mentioned said that it's up to our imagination.

Seeing as how Ori comes from a tree and his kind become trees after death, it wouldn't surprise me if Ori is genderless, not just ambiguously male/female.

You have no evidence to prove your claim. Same with male. To be fair, a game dev said that the gender was ment to be unknown.
