This game is basically following the same rule as Japanese Mahjong. To win a game, you must let your hand cards fit at least one of card types listed in the rules as "役"（Yaku）. All sorts of Japanese Mahjong youtube videos or related games with tutorial shall be helpful.

Thanks for the input. I was kind of hoping that someone would make a Steam Guide version of a "How to Play Mahjong" or a "Mahjong Hand List" for this game. But I could just look at YouTube tutorials if I have to.

I wish you could play Mahjong Soul on the English Version of Steam. But if not, which version would you recommend? Desktop or Mobile?

i think i'll need to learn mahjong too because no matter what i do, i lose at the first game even if i've put more tiles on the table than the others players. I don't like to have zero chances to win.

hmmm... even with basic rules, explanations of the tiles and combinations i can't even win in level 1 lol. This game is too hard i'll just unlock all CGs if one day i'm willing to lol

I've beaten the game by having a basic understanding and then just spamming Fateful Draw.
No idea how you're expected to beat this without cheating though.
