The White Wolf wiki states that Lilly is Caitiff though... So that would mean E is probably too.
They don't have a clan though, they're thin bloods. They don't have Clan weaknesses and benefits, they're different. The Wiki states their clan as thin-blood too.
I know they are all Thin Bloods, but I thought they would have "Clan Characteristics", like Rosa does. It does seem that she has some Malkavian benefits and weaknesses. I thought the others might too. It would be kind of cool.
I thought Catiff were Vampiric types that were outside of accepted vampire society, homeless, mentally unstable and such.
That's basically the political, or derogatory definition for them. Catiff have no clan weakness, no inherent disciplines, and no clan markers.
Thin Bloods are kind of a clan by themselves. No matter who made them, a thin blood doesn't exhibit any of the clan characteristics.
So since Caitiff is a term for vampires that don't have a clan, in that sense, all thin bloods are Caitiff, but not all Caitiff are thin bloods because they can manifest even on higher generations.
Then there's the political term for Caitiff as well meaning anyone who doesn't know their clan and isn't thaught the vampire society rules. Like the serial killer. He's very much a Gangrel, but probably abandoned by his sire or something, and doesn't know anything about vampire rules and society.
About the others, Axle above pretty much summed it up. Rosa was probably already unstable, and yes, a Malkavian probably targeted her, but she ended up a thin blood. We know Lilly's sire was a Toreador, but she's not, she's a thin blood. E is even lower generation than Lilly because Lilly made him.
There's not much info about copper or julius other than they were chased out of their cities and eneded up in LA, meaning, they might be much older than Lilly or E, or much older than they appear.
No, this game was made long before that 5th edition bull crap came out.
Many thinbloods are still members of their parent clan, just extremely weak members of said clan.
According to my V20 book, a 14th generation thinblood has a 50% chance of being sired as a caitiff, while 15th generation are pretty much guaranteed to be caitiff.
Julius (nervous guy) seems like he was meant to become a Brujah, as he has the anarchy symbol on his shirt. But his cowardly and pathetic demeanor seems to imply he emerged as a caitiff and was tossed out on his arse.
Copper is probably a Brujah too, just by how much he desperately wants to become human again.
E and Lilly most definitely are Toreador, due to how E waxes on about her during their story.
Rosa is blatantly Malkavian.
Gangrel don't inherently look animalistic by default. They develop animal features when they succumb to frenzy.
Not only that, but these features are usually temporary, unless they are prone to frenzying on a regular basis. I don't remember the exact specifics, but I think it's for every 5 Frenzies they suffer, they obtain a permanent feature?
Remember, Beckett is 300 years old, and the only bestial thing about him is his eyes. Likely because he maintains a level of civilized behavior.

Also, side note: there are no 'Autarkis' clans. The term 'Autarkis' is used to refer to vampires who have completely shunned vampire society in general, and become independent agents.
If you choose the neutral ending, where you don't align yourself with any of the game's main factions, you are an Autarkis.
Side note: Valve censoring the word is racist and won't solve any of the issues of this ethnicity.
1st: how the hell did you arrive at that conclusion?
2nd: With the exception of the fortune teller, how do any of the other four even remotely fit the ethnicity?
I played the absolute hell out of this game, and stopped keeping track after my 10th playthrough. The only reason I'm not playing it now, is because it's not made for modern resolutions.
Though looking at your post history, it's obvious you're a troll who has a habit of going around spouting random political jargon on forums.
