72 FPS is fine
VR is more popular than ever, see the games that have been released just in the last 3 months
If they were popular or the VR was then people like me and others that aren't interested would know but only you do so since it s your interest
Just because you are not interested don't mean they don't exist lol
Most people don't have interested in Nintendo for example, so they barely know what is being released on Switch even if the games selling 10+ millions of copies
Just to mention some games I picked on my Quest or Steam in the last 3 months
- Arizona Sunshine Remake
- Batman Arkham Shadow (canon to Arkham series, is set between Arkham Origins and Asylum)
- Metal Hellsinger VR (port of Metal Hellsinger to VR)
- Triangle Strategy (port of Triangle Strategy to VR)
- Metro Awakening (prequel to 2033)
- Skydance's Behemoth (Medieval game with realistic combat, is like a mix of Dark Messiah and Shadow of the Colossus)
There is also an Aliens game coming
It's much more immersive than traditional gaming, is a whole new level, is like the Wii 2
I am clearly asking for a VR version of Serious Sam because we have for all the previous games, and that's it
It'd probably be neat, but it's unfortunately probably not gonna happen, at least officially.
That is sad to hear,
I bought the Quest 3 just this year, and it's my very first headset
And I was mindblowed replaying Serious Sam Second Encounter in VR
It was ahead of its time, you can compare to more modern VR games
DOOM VFR for example sucks
It was great on the PSVR1 with the AIM controller. It sucks on PC because the half-baked VR controls implementation by Bethesda which has been never fixed.
Really??
I am not a fan of the tank controls
I wish I could move normally, I dont suffer from motion sickness
I would like at least proper VR realisation in these VR ports.
There a lots of cool new VR games, but Sam trilogy is still one of the most interesting. I find Last Hope intersting too.
