I honestly have a theory about the game, but it's a long one. Everyone knows the original backrooms, which I think is where this story starts. I think Benny IS human. He fell into the backrooms, I can't assume the age, but I say 14-16, and was scared and alone. He found his way into Level 18, which you enter rarely by dreaming, enter via a door near a teddy bear in level 17, or by curling up into a ball and crying in level 57. I suspect he found his way into level 18 via level 57's way. Level 18 is Nostalg...
