Transferring KH3 Save Data from Epic Games to Steam
Now, I want to make this very clear: I have successfully transferred all my data of KH1, KH2, BBS, and DDD using the Kingdom Save Editor tool. This discussion isn’t asking about those games.

I am asking if anyone knows if there is any known method of transferring specifically KH3 Save Data from Epic Games to Steam because the Kingdom Save Editor supposedly doesn’t support transferring of KH3 in any capacity at the current moment.

No matter where I look, there seems to be no known method about how to transfer KH3 Save Data on PC specifically, so if anyone has any knowledge on how to transfer it, that would be immensely helpful.

i would assume you can just copy paste the save data, since kingdom save editor hasnt been updated since 2022. Just make a backup of one / both saves and copy paste the epic save into the steam save directory (Documents/MyGames/Kingdom Hearts 3/[random numbers]/save data iirc)
worst case it doesnt work and you use something like wemod to get to where you were on the epic version

your best bet is to start a new game in the steam version and the overwriting that with the saved data from the epic version. though you should disable steam cloud before you do that.
the reason you can not simply transfer it is that you need to save before you establish the framework(folder structure).
