About the square enix support, i managed to contact to them by this link https://support.eu.square-enix.com/news.php?id=15461&la=2&p=all
idk, maybe they should to update the game version or something, it sucks because we cant play the post-game or get every achievement
UPDATE 1:
They told me to lowering the settings before starting the cutscene to see if this avoid the crash. I tried and it stills crashing btw. I will send more tickets or smth.
UPDATE 2:
They contacted me again and told me several solutions, which are as follows:
'' -try a selective startup. This will allow you to choose which programs you want to open and which you want to keep from opening at startup.
- Make sure that your NVIDIA graphics card has all its drivers up-to-date.
- Uninstall the game completely and then install it again, making sure that you do so in your C : Driver.
- Ensure that all of the game’s executable files have administrator rights. There will be ".exe" files located in the game's default installation path under C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance\Boot.
- Now it is time to verify the integrity of the game cache in Steam. To do this, please follow the steps outlined below:
1. Right click on the game in your Steam library, then select 'Properties'.
2. Click on the 'Local Files' tab.
3. Then select 'Verify Integrity Of Game Files'. ''
That solutions didnt worked for me...
Go into the game settings on the main menu.
Turn off V-sync
Choose Fullscreen, 800x600 resolution
Choose 30 FPS
Reload your final save, rebeat the bosses, skip the cutscenes. The last cutscene outside the castle will play if you didn't skip it too, then the credits roll.
Put your settings back after you make a clear save file. Makes no sense, but at least you can complete the game.
Turn off V-sync
Choose Fullscreen, 800x600 resolution
Choose 30 FPS
and that didn't work
Tried playing it again today afer a long while of being too fed up with it. This worked for me! And while I saw that it didn't work for many others, this is at least a viable work around for a few people!
Thank you so much man!
