Try running it with any anti-virus software disabled
Try running the game and/or Steam as administrator.
I think the consistant in-game crashes (when the game actually boots) are due to some firewall issue. If you turn off your firewall you should be fine.
Yes I've turned off antivirus, still no luck.
Also the last thread titled "Capcom refuses to fix this game" has been deleted and I have no idea why, it was current.
Because some moderator or capcom got butthurt(probably moderator).
There wasn't any smack talk(well besides some immature 10yr old PC elitist) and people want answers. Censorship at its finest... the game works for most and thats probably how it will remain in the future.
i'm running these specs:
Intel Core i7-4700HQ @ 2.4 GHz
GeForce GTX 860M
16 GB RAM.
Now, for whatever reason, GeForce Experience won't recognize Resident Evil 4. I also own Resident Evil 6, and it does recognize that.
Thank you for the tip, but unfortunately it didn't work. "Adapter" was actually set to 0 by default. This really stinks, RE4 is so much better than the newer ones.
Tried obvious stuff, still hasn't worked.
ASUS ROG G751JY-DH71
Windows 8.1
